In 2024, I released True Faith through my side project, Unlimited Oceans. True Faith was a euphoric club and dance outing rooted in the spirit of the 90’s and early 00’s, while still remaining true to the dense and dreamy nature of much of my work, in and out of Unlimited Oceans. I’m happy to say that True Faith is out now on limited edition tape through Takeki Tower, sister label of Miami Palm. This release features all-new art from yours truly (art I vastly prefer to the original actually) and a brand-new bonus track, making this the definitive True Faith experience.
I had a lot of fun returning to the release. As I talked about when I released it, it came at a time in my life when things weren’t going so well, and I really wanted to work on something uplifting. Creating the new artwork for it was great, I’m very happy with what I came up with; the art is thematically very similar and the color profile is the same but the structure and arrangement, it’s a lot more pleasing to the eye. The bonus track produced was fun, too. It was a track that I had started at the end of True Faith, but hadn’t finished, so I’m glad I got to include it proper.
True Faith is out now on digital and cassette.
